How do I register as an advocate?

Click 'Start Free', select 'Advocate', enter your Bar Council enrollment number and state. Our team verifies your enrollment within one business day and activates your account. You will receive a confirmation email once verified.

Can individuals and businesses use PleadFlow without an advocate?

Yes. Individuals and businesses can register directly and use PleadFlow to generate legal notices, consumer complaints, demand notices, and agreements. For litigation documents that require filing through a court, you will need an advocate.

How long does advocate verification take?

Typically one business day. Our team verifies your Bar Council enrollment number against official records. You will be notified by email once your account is activated. If verification takes longer, contact care@pleadflow.com.

Can a law firm register as an organisation?

Yes. The senior partner or firm admin registers first and selects the 'Law Firm' plan. Team members — associates and clerks — are invited under the firm account. Each member gets their own verified login with shared access to firm matters.

What is the difference between individual and advocate accounts?

Individual accounts are for people seeking legal help — they can use the Virtual Advocate for guidance and generate basic documents. Advocate accounts get access to all court formats, the full drafting engine, eCourts docket management, the marketplace listing, and client management tools.

How do I start a draft?

Open a new chat under Virtual Clerk, describe what you need in plain language — exactly as your client explained it. Share facts, upload documents. When you are ready to generate, type 'Generate the [document type]' or use the generate button. PleadFlow will produce the complete filing bundle.

Which courts and document types are supported?

Telangana HC, AP HC, City Civil Court Hyderabad, Sessions Courts, and Magistrate Courts are fully formatted. General district court format is available for all other courts. Supported documents include writ petitions, civil suit plaints, criminal petitions, IAs, bail applications, revision petitions, legal notices, affidavits, written statements, caveats, contempt petitions, vakalatnama, RTI applications, demand notices, consumer complaints, and agreements.

Can I upload case documents?

Yes — PDFs, Word documents, and images up to 50MB per file. PleadFlow reads and extracts facts, party names, dates, orders, and legal provisions automatically. Uploaded documents are used only to assist with your current drafting and are never used to train AI models.

What is case memory?

As you discuss your matter in chat, PleadFlow silently extracts parties, dates, reliefs sought, and applicable laws into a structured case memory. This context is automatically used when generating documents — you never have to re-explain the same case across sessions. You can also view and edit the case memory manually.

How accurate are the generated documents?

PleadFlow uses court-specific section stubs — the formatting, structure, and boilerplate are always correct for your court. The legal content is generated based on facts you have shared. All documents must be reviewed by the advocate before filing. PleadFlow is a drafting tool, not a substitute for professional legal judgment.

Can I edit a generated document inside PleadFlow?

Yes. After generation, each section is displayed and editable in the document panel. You can also download as DOCX and edit in Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

Does PleadFlow handle IPC to BNS mapping automatically?

Yes. All documents automatically use BNS, BNSS, and BSA provisions for new matters. If you reference an IPC or CrPC section, PleadFlow maps it to the correct BNS/BNSS equivalent. The law comparison tool also lets you check section-by-section equivalents side by side.

What is a 'filing package'?

A filing package is the complete bundle of documents required to file a matter — main petition, affidavit in support, vakalatnama, running index, and cover slip — generated together in the correct format for your specific court. You do not need to assemble these separately.

How does the eCourts integration work?

PleadFlow connects directly to the NIC eCourts API. You can search any case by CNR number, case number, filing number, party name, or advocate name. Results include current status, next date, hearing history, and orders. You can import any case directly into your matter workspace.

What is a CNR number?

CNR (Case Number Record) is a unique 16-character identifier assigned by eCourts to every case filed in Indian courts. Format: 4 letters (court code) + 12 digits. Example: TSHC010001232024. You can find your CNR on your filing receipt or the eCourts portal.

Will I get alerts when my hearing date changes?

Yes. PleadFlow syncs daily with eCourts and sends WhatsApp and in-app notifications when your next date changes, when new orders are uploaded, or when your case is listed. You can configure notification preferences per matter.

Can I import the opposing side's case?

Yes. Enter the CNR number of any case — including the opposing party's — and PleadFlow will import the court details, party names, and hearing history into a matter workspace. This is useful for tracking cases where you represent the respondent.

What is in the legal library?

7.8 million+ High Court judgments across all 25 Indian High Courts, 48,000+ Supreme Court judgments, 10,500+ Acts and Rules (Central and all state jurisdictions), Constitution of India, Law Commission Reports, and international treaties. Growing daily.

How do I search for judgments?

Go to Library → Judgments. Search by keyword, section, party name, court, or citation. Results show full text with the relevant passage highlighted. You can open the full judgment and use it to support your draft directly.

Are the bare acts updated?

Yes. Central Acts are updated to reflect current amendments. State Acts are maintained per official state gazette publications. The Constitution includes all amendments up to 2026.

Is there a free trial?

The free plan is your trial — it is permanent, not time-limited. You get 5 documents per month on the free plan. No credit card required to start.

When do monthly limits reset?

On the 1st of every calendar month at midnight IST.

What payment methods are accepted?

UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and net banking — all major Indian payment methods. GST invoice issued automatically on payment.

How do I get a refund?

Email care@pleadflow.com within 7 days of payment with your order reference number. Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment method.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan mid-month?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Your documents and case data are always retained regardless of plan changes.

Does PleadFlow offer GST-compliant invoices?

Yes. Every payment generates a GST invoice with PleadFlow Technologies Private Limited's GSTIN. Invoices are available in your Billing dashboard and also sent by email.

Is my client data confidential?

Yes. All documents, case facts, and uploaded files are encrypted at rest and in transit. Your data is never used to train AI models. Each firm's data is tenant-isolated — no other user or firm can access your matters.

Where is my data stored?

PleadFlow data is stored in India. We use Indian data centres compliant with applicable Indian data protection requirements.

Does PleadFlow provide legal advice?

No. PleadFlow is a drafting and research tool. It does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for a qualified advocate. Every document generated must be reviewed by the advocate before filing. PleadFlow is not a law firm.
