Acceptable Usage Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Usage Policy ("Policy") explains the rules governing the use of the PleadFlow Platform, including its artificial intelligence features, legal drafting tools, research modules, document management system, chat features, and related Services. This Policy forms an integral part of the PleadFlow Terms of Service.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account and any other action permitted under applicable law or the Terms of Service.

2. Permitted Use

PleadFlow is intended to assist advocates, law firms, businesses, students, and individuals with lawful legal drafting, legal research, document preparation, workflow management, and related productivity activities. The Platform must be used responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with all applicable laws and professional obligations.

You remain solely responsible for all information submitted to the Platform, all AI prompts provided by you, and all documents or outputs generated using your account.

3. Professional Responsibility

If you are a practising advocate or legal professional, you remain solely responsible for verifying all legal authorities, statutory provisions, citations, facts, procedural requirements, and AI-generated content before signing, advising upon, or filing any document before a court, tribunal, government authority, arbitrator, or any other forum.

Use of PleadFlow does not replace your independent professional judgment or ethical obligations under the Advocates Act, 1961, the Bar Council of India Rules, or any other applicable law governing the legal profession.

4. Prohibited Activities

You shall not use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, harassing, or malicious purpose. You shall not knowingly generate or submit forged legal documents, fabricated evidence, false judicial precedents, misleading legal citations, impersonate another person, or use the Platform to facilitate illegal activity.

You shall not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, interfere with its normal operation, introduce malware or malicious code, exploit security vulnerabilities, disrupt the Services, or use automated tools to scrape, copy, extract, or systematically reproduce Platform content or AI-generated outputs.

5. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, generate, transmit, store, or distribute any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, fraudulent, infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, or otherwise violates applicable law.

Without limitation, the Platform must not be used to generate or distribute content involving child sexual abuse material, terrorism, violent extremism, malware, phishing, financial fraud, identity theft, document forgery, or any activity prohibited under the laws of India.

6. Fair Usage

To ensure a reliable and consistent experience for all users, PleadFlow may apply reasonable usage limits based on your Subscription plan, including limits on AI generations, document processing, storage, file uploads, or other Platform resources. These limits are designed to maintain system performance, security, and fair access.

Excessive, abusive, automated, or abnormal usage that adversely affects the stability, availability, or performance of the Platform may result in temporary restrictions, throttling, or suspension of certain features until normal usage resumes.

7. AI Safety and Human Review

Artificial intelligence is intended to assist users in legal drafting, research, and document preparation, but it does not replace independent human judgment. AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, outdated legal positions, or formatting errors.

Users remain solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, and approving every AI-generated output before relying upon it, sharing it with any third party, or filing it before any court, tribunal, authority, or other forum.

8. Monitoring and Enforcement

To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Platform, PleadFlow may monitor system activity, investigate suspected misuse, and take appropriate administrative or technical measures where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, other users, or comply with applicable law.

Where a violation of this Policy is identified, PleadFlow may issue warnings, temporarily restrict access to specific features, suspend or terminate user accounts, remove prohibited content, or take any other action reasonably necessary to protect the Platform or comply with legal obligations.

9. Reporting Misuse

If you become aware of any security vulnerability, unauthorised access, misuse of the Platform, or any activity that may compromise the safety or integrity of the Services, we encourage you to notify PleadFlow promptly so that appropriate action may be taken.

Reports may be submitted to care@pleadflow.com together with any relevant information that may assist our investigation.

10. Changes to this Policy

PleadFlow may revise or update this Acceptable Usage Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, security practices, or business operations. Any revised version shall become effective upon publication on the Platform unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of the Services after the revised Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of the updated Policy.
